There are so different alternative interpretations of humanity that exist today. As time continues to go on, people have come up with many more various theories of humanity. Although there is a biblical view of humanity, the animal view and a pawn of the universe also view have similar perspectives of how they interpret humanity. Despite their similarities, they are still very different in their views. The Christian view of humanity is simply written in scripture. The New King James version of Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created man in His own, in the image of God He created Him; male and female He created them”. This view of humanity is the view that humans are created by God and made in His image. This means that humans could not have been created by an accident or by chance. Humans are intently created in the spirit image. According to the Christian view, God, who is an immeasurable being, created humanity. God created everything, but He specifically created humans in His likeness and image. With that being said, humans have the ability to have a close relationship with God. A major thinker of the Christian view of humanity was the ApostlePaul in the Bible .He wrote multiple books in the New Testament and ministered to various cultures and cities about Jesus Christ. Overall, God is the creator of all humanity, and He is the overseer of everything in His creation.

Many people argue that God is not actively or currently involved in His creation. It is sometimes said that God created the world and now it runs solely on man and the basis of scripture. As a Christian Counselor, I feel that it will be extremely important to be able to share with my clients that God is indeed the one and only creator of the world but that He remains active in everything that happens in the world at all times. One argument is that the world is being destroyed by natural disaster but this cannot be true because if we look closer, no matter how terrible the disaster is, God seems to have a way to conserve His creation. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together” Colossians 1:17 NIV. If we think back on all the disasters that have happened, there is absolutely no other way to explain how or why the world is able to overcome such devastating disasters such as earth shattering tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, as well as the destruction that man imposes on this earth like bombings and war. It is only God that can overcome such acts. Man could never recover without the original creator. Another way that as a Christian, we can prove that God continues to be active in His creation is that He answers prayers daily. For this to be true, it has to be believed that God is definitely active on earth. “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone whocomes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him” Hebrews 11:6 NIV. Without answered prayers, this world would not remain in balance. Still another argument is that it is science that is active in the balance of the world in things such as the healing of the sick. God actively uses both super natural healing as well as gifts that He gives to us through the use of physicians and other healers. “This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones” Proverbs 3:8 NIV.
